First had this wine in Padstow at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, since then it's my wine of choice wherever we go and I always keep the wine rack full at home. Great with meat or fish or just in good company.

This is a benchmark CDR and frankly, at this price, a must-buy wine. Voluptuous, Rhône Syrah, silky rich, awash with dark bramble fruits and hints of leather and tobacco. It is nicely rounded with a touch of tannin to complement lamb or slow cooked casseroles.
