Soft and fruity Portuguese rosé.
This new addition to our range is a soft and raspberry scented rosé wine with a fine, long finish. Made in a new state-of-the-art winery north of Lisbon it is a blend of 50% Shiraz and 50% Touriga Nacional. Enjoy with a salad Nicoise.
In the press:
“This blend of Portugal’s best grape with more international Shiraz is so deeply coloured it could almost be a red. It’s an ultra-modern wine with rich plum and cherry stone fruit and lovely depth of flavour,” Tim Atkin, Woman & Home, 1 June 2009 (2007 vintage )
“From the estuary of the Tagus, some 35 miles north of Lisbon, a hand-harvested blend of 50-50 shiraz and touriga national (famous as the backbone of Port). Subdued on the nose but with lovely silky, supple fruit on the palate and a smooth dry to off-dry finish, it's ideal alongside chicken or prawn salad,” Jonathan Ray, www.telegraph.co.uk, 12 May 2009 (2008 vintage)
