Leitz Rudesheimer Drachenstein Riesling Kabinett 2006 Rheingau, Germany

Bin Number: 061552
Up to 1 case / 17 bottles in stock

A lovely, medium-dry Riesling from Rheingau in Germany.

An excellent Riesling that’s pale wheat-white in colour and has really grapey and grapefruity notes on the nose. The palate shows a delicious honeyed sweetness that is perfectly balanced with a zingy, mouth-watering limey acidity. Enjoy with a chicken salad or cheese platter.

More information

Johannes Leitz is counted among the elite group of top winemakers in Germany. When he took over the family estate in 1985, he felt he had awoken a ‘sleeping beauty’. During the 1990’s he experimented with new techniques in both his vineyards and the cellar. He uses natural yeasts and very slow fermentation, with little or no interference in the natural process, which sometimes means that his wines are even more exciting a year or more after bottling.
