Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2001
A rich, robust fruity port aged fourth to six years in wood prior to bottling. It emulates the vintage style, but throws up no sediment or crust and is presented at a much more affordable price than the real thing.
Cune Reserva 2001/04 Rioja, Spain
This is a mature Rioja from a fine vintage and a well-respected, traditional Bodega. The wine is predominantly Tempranillo with a little Garnacha and Graciano. Soft and supple on the palate, with good integration of wood and evolving fruit. Serve with lamb or duck.
Le Pont du Milieu 2006 Pouilly Fumé, Loire, France
This is a very fresh and bright Sauvignon Blanc with a light palate and distinct mineral character. It shows good and subtle citrus fruit characters and slight hints of that typical smokiness. It has a long length and would be a great partner to baked clams, goats cheese or white fish.
