A Madiran from the high Pyrenees made from powerful Tannat grapes, this is an inky-black wine of great depth and character. It has cherry aromas on the nose and shows complex ripe black fruits and vanilla notes on the palate. A smooth and intense red that’s excellent with game or strong hard cheese.
In the press:
"It's a riddle when you sniff it, with a fragrant, floral character that belies its power. It's a seriously chunky red with blueberry-type fruit, some freshness and bags of intensity. A wine forged from butch Tannat grapes that requires bold food."
