In the press:
“A bold red wine with floral touches, made from Touriga Nacional - a grape associated with making port. In this incarnation it is divine - and superb with a hunk of steak. If you’re a fan of Shiraz, you’ll love this wine.”
Olly Smith, The Mail on Sunday, 5 September 2010 (2008 vintage)

… rich, powerful, smoothly tannic … (2006 vintage) Tim Atkin, The Observer, 3 August 2008
Ripe, plumy, floral nose. Medium bodied with firm tannins, lots of sweet black fruits and good acidity. (2006 vintage) Victoria Moore, The Guardian, 12 September 2008
Rich plum, damson and sloe scents, followed by deep, dark and challenging flavours with a classic mineral undertow. As always with the Douro, that sense of solar power, fire and energy is never far away yet, as always, there is nothing baked or torpid in the flavours, and they are lifted with bright, vivid acidity. (2006 vintage) Decanter, 1 November 2008
Here’s something really special: a supple, pure, elegant red that would convert the fussiest connoisseur to Portuguese wines. It has ripe, sweet blackberry fruit with a hint of spicy oak, and it’s worth every penny of its price. (2006 vintage) Jamie Goode, Sunday Express, 25 January 2009
A vivid modern blend of the port grape Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, with pristine, rich-mulberry succulence defined by subtle rounding oak. A terrific winter warmer. (2006 vintage) The Independent, 1 November 2008
