With only £100 in his pocket but an extensive wine knowledge, Mr Wolf Blass AM, a native German, arrived in Australia in 1961 with the hope to ‘add something’ to Australia’s wine industry. This Wolf Blass flagship red includes fruit sourced from McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley. It’s a rich and full-bodied wine showing blackcurrant and cherry fruit flavours with a hint of spice and chocolate from ageing in oak barrels.

This wine shows a vibrant yellow colour. Intense aromas of peach and melon are supported by well-handled French and American oak. The full-bodied palate is rich with tropical fruit flavours and a creamy mouth feel.
