This is justifiably a very popular Italian sparkling wine, made from the native Italian Nerello Mascalese and Glera grape varieties. It has an aromatic bouquet, a fresh fruity flavour and a gentle mousse making it an ideal apéritif for parties and celebrations. It’s delicious with cold prawn starters too.
Please note: Due to a recent legislation change, Italian rosato wines may no longer be called 'Prosecco' - the name of this wine has been changed to reflect this. |
