Wine critic Olly Smith chose this as one of his weekend wines: "This wine manages to be refreshing as well as offering a twist of exotic richness (think pineapple) that works brilliantly with bright spicy dishes. It pairs beautifully with fish and shellfish dishes, especially alongside aromatic spices such as ginger and lemon grass but you can also experiment with mild curries with mild creamy sauces such as korma and even chicken tikka masala. Chenin Blanc from South Africa tends to be fruity and zingy with a subtle aromatic flourish and this refreshing example is delicious - and splendid value!"
