Although the vineyard was only planted in 2006, Avonleigh have already set themselves up for a glittering future securing medals at the English and Welsh Wine Awards in both 2008 and 2009.
Traditional methods are used throughout the vineyard and harvesting is done by hand to ensure careful grape selection. Meticulous care is taken to minimise environmental impact; flower meadows have planted around the vineyard to encourage friendly insects and predators to help control pests and diseases.
