Winemaker Luis Cabral de Almeida asserts that Flichman is all about "Attitude with Altitude". Following significant investment from Portuguese owners, Sogrape, massive vineyard expansion has allowed Flichman to experiment, innovate and excite.
Flichman grow thir grapes on the unique Barrancas estate at 700 metres above sea level. Vines are planted on the old Mendoza riverbed, where the stony soils are ideally suited for Malbec. Flichman also have vineyards in Tupungato at 1100m, where the cool night air lends additional acidity and complexity to the wines.
